If you have a tablet or smart phone (Android or iPhone), please download the Gateway app.
To install the app simply search the store for ‘School Gateway’ or go to www.schoolgateway.com/apple or www.schoolgateway.com/android.
Select ‘New User’. Enter the same email address and mobile telephone number that you have supplied to the School.
The system will send a PIN code to your ‘phone; please enter this PIN code and your account will be activated.
When installing the app please say yes to allow push notifications, this ensures new messages are highlighted to you.
If you do not utilise a smart phone or tablet, please visit: www.schoolgateway.com and click on ‘New User’, complete your details and you will receive a text message with a PIN number. Use this PIN to login to School Gateway. If you have any problem activating your School Gateway account, it might be because we do not have your current email and mobile phone number on record. Please call or email us at info@bohuntwokingham.com and we will update the details on our system.
Our preferred method of payment for school meals, visits, trips etc is via a secure electronic payments system.
Bohunt has installed a cashless catering system. This new system will allow us to continue with the development of the school meal service, and will provide us with a more efficient, faster and ultimately better quality of service.
If your child has not registered for the Biometric system he/she will be provided with a 4 digit PIN which will be sent out to you in the holiday ready for September. Your child will then be able to register for the system at the start of term. If you do not wish for your child to use this system they can continue to use the PIN when paying for their school meals.
You will be able to make online payments to the catering company via debit or credit card or by direct bank transfer and we are using SchoolGateway for this service. You will be able to make these online payments via the School Gateway smartphone app or website. You will be able to view school meal balances and top them up at any time. The alternative to using the School Gateway is for students to top up with cash via the Biometric Revaluation Unit based in the main hall.
