As your child comes towards the end of KS3, they enter an exciting phase which gives them more choice than ever before in their daily diet of classes; an opportunity to take control of their education and shape their future. The subjects your child chooses to study for the next 3 years will affect how they will spend their time at school and influence what higher educational course, apprenticeship or job they decide to do after they complete Year 11.
We will be running three events during late February / early March to ensure all students are fully supported throughout this process:
Key Stage 4 Options Form Submission Deadline Friday 20th March 2026
We would like to invite you and your child to attend both the Key Stage 4 Curriculum Briefing on Tuesday 3rd March and the Key Stage 4 Options Evening on Tuesday 10th March to explore your child’s subject option choices.
At the Key Stage 4 Options Evening all subjects will be represented and staff will be on hand to discuss the subjects on offer, including those which are not optional. Please note this is an open evening and therefore not by appointment, so that you can attend at your convenience but would advise that we anticipate the evening will be busier after 6:00pm.
