At Bohunt Wokingham, our secondary mathematics curriculum is designed to foster a love of maths and a deep curiosity for its real-world applications. We strive to transform every student into a logical thinker and resilient learner, equipped with the essential skills for practical and innovative uses of mathematics in everyday life.
Our curriculum emphasises:
Through a blend of structured instruction, guided practice, and the integration of digital tools, students develop the digital soft skills necessary for the modern world. This approach helps them become autonomous learners, capable of independently navigating complex problems and finding solutions.
We believe that #EveryoneIsAMathematician. Our inclusive and supportive environment ensures that everybody experiences mathematical success, fostering a growth mindset that empowers them to achieve academically and beyond. By instilling resilience and a love for maths, we prepare our students to thrive in an increasingly numerate society.
The “Make it Happen” department at Bohunt Wokingham is dedicated to ensuring that all students are not only prepared for further education but are also inspired to pursue it with enthusiasm. By integrating practical and innovative applications of maths into lessons, we make maths learning relevant and engaging, showing students the innovative ways maths can be used in various fields and everyday situations.
Ultimately, our goal is to empower every student to become a confident, autonomous learner who loves maths and sees its value in the real world. Through our comprehensive curriculum, we strive to create a generation of problem solvers and logical thinkers who are well-equipped to succeed in their academic pursuits and in life.
