Intent
In our faculty, through studying of geography, history, psychology and religious studies we shape our students into Global Citizens.
Global Citizens are able to:
The Past:
- Challenge narratives of the past
- Explore diversity and forgotten stories.
- Understand the formation of the natural world.
The Present:
- Seeking to understand people’s beliefs and values
- Understanding and respecting people and cultures across the world
- Embracing debates on important issues that affect people globally
- Being confident in developing and presenting our opinions
- Being respectful in our management of tricky and controversial topics
- Being culturally literate
- Appreciating the deep connection that cultures and societies have with the natural world.
- Engaging with technology to investigate the wide range of issues across our subjects.
The Future:
- Proactive in making positive changes towards a better future
- Recognising the human and natural threats to the world and it’s people
- Applying lessons learned from the past
- Navigating an increasingly interconnecting world
By becoming Global Citizens, Bohunt Wokingham students can draw upon their learning in Humanities to be the Game Changers of tomorrow.
